- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Crescent Presentations LLC (“Services”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and all applicable federal and Florida laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not access or use the Services.
By accepting these Terms, you specifically agree that:
- You will use the Services solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
- You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state courts of Florida as set forth herein.
- You understand that all content is provided “as is” and accept the disclaimers and limitations of liability contained herein.
- You agree that any disputes shall be resolved under Florida law and in accordance with these Terms.
- Purpose of Services
The Services provide educational content and commentary on historical, political, cultural, and religious topics, including but not limited to Islam. The content is provided strictly for informational and educational purposes, reflecting the opinions of Crescent Presentations LLC and/or its contributors. Nothing in the Services constitutes legal advice, religious instruction, or personalized professional guidance. Users are encouraged to verify information independently.
- Intellectual Property Rights
All materials available through the Services—including text, graphics, images, audio, video, layouts, and software—are owned or licensed by Crescent Presentations LLC, unless otherwise noted. Except for limited personal, non-commercial use, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
- No Endorsement of Views or Institutions
References to individuals, organizations, or governments do not constitute endorsement by Crescent Presentations LLC. Views expressed are solely those of the authors or presenters.
- User Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Engage in spamming, trolling, or disruptive conduct.
- Upload or share infringing content.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with services.
- Incite violence or harass based on religion, race, ethnicity, or other protected categories.
Services are intended for users 18 years or older. Users aged 13–17 may only use the Services with the consent of their parents or guardians.
- Privacy and Data Use
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell or rent personal information.
- Required Disclosures: We may disclose information as required by law, court order, or government request.
- Security: While reasonable safeguards are in place, no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
- Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations
- Billing: Charges are processed through approved payment providers.
- Refunds: Payments are non-refundable once content has been accessed, except in cases of technical failure (e.g., download errors solely due to our servers etc) attributable to us and reported within seven (7) days. Refunds for technical issues are granted at Crescent’s sole discretion.
- Cancellations: Users may cancel future recurring charges through account settings or by written request. No refunds are available for charges already incurred.
- Termination of Access
Crescent Presentations LLC reserves the right to suspend or revoke access at its sole discretion, including for:
- Violations of these Terms.
- Abusive or disruptive behavior.
- Legal or regulatory obligations.
- Non-payment.
- Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
All content is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Crescent Presentations LLC makes no representations regarding accuracy, completeness, or suitability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any errors, omissions, or damages arising from use of the Services. Educational commentary reflects opinion and is not guaranteed to be error-free or exhaustive.
- Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Binding Arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except as otherwise provided herein, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, these Terms, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, shall be resolved exclusively and finally by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules then in effect.
- Venue: The arbitration shall take place in Sumter County, Florida, or, at Crescent Presentations LLC’s discretion, in Lake County, Florida.
- Waiver of Jury Trial: You expressly waive any right to a jury trial in court.
- Scope: This arbitration agreement is intended to be broadly interpreted and applies to all disputes, including statutory, tort, and contract claims.
- Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in the state courts of Sumter County, Florida, solely for the purpose of protecting intellectual property rights or preventing unauthorized access to the Services. All parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
- Costs: Each party shall bear its own legal fees and costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
- International Users and Geo-Specific Disclaimer
This website is hosted in the United States and governed by U.S. law, including the First Amendment protections for free speech. It is intended primarily for U.S. audiences. We make no representation that our Services are appropriate or available outside the United States. International visitors, including those in the European Union, access this site at their own risk and are responsible for complying with local laws. We do not guarantee compliance with foreign regulations, such as the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), and disclaim any liability for violations thereof. If you believe this content violates your local laws, please do not proceed.
Notice to EU Users: This site is not designated as a Very Large Online Platform under the DSA. We strive for transparency but are not subject to EU moderation requirements. - Changes to Terms
